Underrated Anime to Watch This Week
The Girl Downstairs is an underrated Chinese anime adaptation of a Korean manhwa that has received a solid score of 7.86 on MyAnimeList. I didn’t have high expectations for it, but I ended up enjoying it a lot. The story, animation, and characters are all well done. If you love romantic comedy anime, you'll definitely enjoy this one!
The plot follows Lee Joon, who enrolls at Minsong University hoping to reconnect with his high school crush, Kim Margo. However, his life takes a turn when he meets his fiery neighbor, Lee Duna, a former idol. As Joon tries to find time with Margo, who is struggling with family issues, he also encounters Choi Ira at a party, leading to her interest in him. As Joon uncovers more about Duna's past and Margo's challenges, he must navigate his complicated feelings and decide where his heart lies.
POSTS PUBLISHED THIS WEEK ON MY FIRST ANIME
Mission: Yozakura Family is one of the best anime releases from spring 2024, yet it sadly didn’t get the attention it deserves, possibly due to a lack of publicity. This anime has everything—watching it feels like experiencing multiple genres in one. Those who have seen it, like me, truly enjoyed it, and with the second season now in production, we’re all excited for what’s next. However, good anime always leaves us wanting more, and if you’re looking for anime like Mission: Yozakura Family, you’re in the right place. I’ve gathered some anime that perfectly match Mission: Yozakura Family. While there aren’t many, I’ve also included a few that might not be exact matches but capture the same essence. By the end of this post, I’m confident you’ll have your next anime to watch!
ANIME MEME
